Why I do this work

Raised to believe that thoughts were safer than feelings, that worthiness was measured by achievements, and that bravery was invincibility rather than vulnerability, I moved through life living in my head rather than from my heart. In navigating my own journey toward connection in the midst of people who held space for me to feel safe and vulnerable, I’ve come to believe that healing and growth are relational. It happens in the presence of another. It is this belief and gratitude that lead me to this work.

The best part of my job

I love to witness clients take up space with courage, explore their internal world and vulnerabilities, and move toward the journey home to their authentic selves. It's beautiful to watch people tend and relate to themselves with compassion, come to believe in their agency, and honor their own experiences while cultivating hope for change.

How I spend my free time

Walking my dog, reading fiction books, researching new local food and dessert places.
