Welcome! I’m so happy you are here. I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in trauma and anxiety disorders, dedicated to helping individuals navigate the journey of healing from traumatic experiences. My approach to therapy is both evidence-based and client-centered, driven by your unique goals for personal growth and well-being. It takes courage to make time for yourself in a busy world where we feel pulled in so many different directions. If you have found yourself here, maybe you are looking to move through the world with greater ease and freedom, feel a sense of peace, better connect with others, develop a deeper understanding of yourself, or feel empowered to move toward positive change. Why I do this work

I have always been fascinated by what drives us, and have a passion to better understand myself and others. Professionally, I found myself drawn to psychology time and again, and particularly to trauma work. The reality is, most of us will experience one or more traumatic events in our lifetime. Fortunately, we learn more and more over time about how people can recover from trauma and move toward a place of growth and thriving. This has been the foundation of my training and clinical work. I completed my internship training and a fellowship in military and combat trauma through the VA Healthcare System. I’ve also worked extensively with students, young professionals, parents, older adults, and those processing childhood trauma, racial trauma, and grief. I’m grateful to be in a field where I can support others and that is constantly evolving.

The best part of my job

The best part of my job is getting to know you through our work together and witnessing you move toward the positive change you desire. Although I know it’s not easy to open up to a professional, I so value learning more about your experience, hopes, and goals, and exploring how I can best support you.

How I spend my free time

Reading, spending time with loved ones, going anywhere new, contemporary art museums, shopping.
